A man is head of security at a department store plagued by unexplained deaths The store is also the target of demonstrators wanting compensation for an earlier staff fire tragedy. Katie: I…(takes a deep breath) I was supposed to get married to this guy named Chris. (sighs) I didn’t exactly want to marry him but I had to because of my parents. I had never known about it but my mom had met this woman whose son is only a week older than me. She said they talked and finally agreed we would get married…today. I love you though so I couldn’t do it that’s why I came down here in a hurry. I didn’t want to get married to that Jerk. Nick: well you’re here with me now so you can’t marry him. Katie: you’re right. So what do we do now? Nick: honestly I thought we’d both be asleep by now so I didn’t really think of anything. Katie: well then, it’s only 9:30 we could…go mess around at Wal-Mart? Nick: you mean like we used to do with Joe when we were like 14? Katie: yes they very same thing except we won’t sleep there this time (they laugh) Nick: ok lets go. (they run outside, get into Nick’s car and drive to Wal-Mart) lets do this (he grabs her hand and they run inside then head straight to the toys section) what to play with first…how about we… Katie: (phone rings) go find something I’ll be right there (he walks away and answers it) hello? ????: Katie, hi it’s Alysia. I need to talk to you. Katie: oh ok I’m glad you called what’s up? Alysia: well I wanted to talk to you about Joe and I. We are in Miami, at a beach house. We’re fine. We got married and well I’m having a baby sometime soon because well I’m already 9 months. I had to call you because well after the baby is born we are coming back home. The full story is Joe left me at the alter and a few days later he called me. He told me he just wasn’t ready for commitment and he was sorry. Of course I forgave him, he told me where he was so I came down here. We got married after we found out about the baby. Nobody else knows where we are please don’t tell anyone except Nick we are here please Katie. You have to promise me you will only tell Nick. Please promise me. Katie: I promise. Just tell me one thing Alysia: what? Katie: is it a boy or a girl? Alysia: girl! I’m having a baby girl! (happy tone) Katie: awe I’m so happy for you! I can’t believe it you’re having a baby! With Joe too! Alysia: I know it’s hard to believe. So what are you up to? Katie: me and Nick are at Wal-Mart cause we’re bored. (she looks over at Nick who is being pulled out by security) um Alysia: um what? Katie: I gotta go Nick just got thrown out of the store. Alysia: (cracking up on the other end) ok bye (they hang up and Katie runs outside to Nick) Katie: what’d you do? Nick: umm well I asked this security dude if he knew where the bathroom was and I got dragged out. Katie: he probably thought you were going in there to do crack or something Nick: probably. So what now? Katie: I saw we go to my house and crash Nick: good idea (he drives them to her house in silence because they were tired and when they enter the house they immediately crash on the couch)——————————————————————————————————–hey guys sorry about the wait I have had major writers block.
